Doris Blash, nee Remkus, 94, passed away peacefully September 25, 2012 with her family at her side. She is the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Edna Sebahar Remkus; loving mother of Edward and Nancy (Mark) Holihan; dearest grandmother of Katie and Robe Carskie; preceded in death by her brother, Edward and sister, Lorraine. Visitation Monday 4 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge. Funeral Tuesday 9 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Paul of the Cross Church. Mass 10 a.m. Committal Service at Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Matthew Ceneter for Health, 1601 N. Western, Park Ridge, IL 60068 preferred.
