Donna J. Jummati, 88, known for her warmth, strength and encouraging comments to family and friends, passed away on February 13, 2025. She was the dear wife of Michael "Buddy" Jummati; loving mother of Jeanette Jummati, Larry "Michael" (Kim) Jummati, Julianna Jummati, and Christina (Kevin) Kohl; cherished grandmother of Anthony (Katey) Pope, Yared and Amanuel Kohl.  Donna was a devoted daughter to the late Enid Edwards, caring sister of the late Barbara Johnson, the late William "Bill" Edwards, and James Russell Edwards and "fun" aunt to Janet Benhart, April Edwards-Haupt, Robin Van Valkenburg, Steve Johnson, Mark Johnson, and Heather Edwards.

Donna was devoted to her children and grandchildren - taking time to attend their many activities, recognize their special milestones and share in the joy of family gatherings. Active in her own right, Donna embraced the spirit of travel… whether on a Mother's Day hike, trek over a New Zealand mountain pass, enjoying the view of Irish cliffs or, pulling over for a Route 66 Historical Marker, this was Donna's "happy time".  And, winning at the penny slots also gave her great joy!
Donna was a self-less individual, strong in her faith who lived for and loved her family. She was the "Best Mom Ever" and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation and a celebration service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at First United Methodist Church of Park Ridge. Visitation at 9:30am followed by a service at 10:30am. When driving to FUMC, navigate to the church's parking lot address: 410 Grant Place, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
