Donna R. Johnston-Burns Decker, 62, devoted mother of Kelly Burns; loving wife of the late Robert Decker; beloved sister of Greg Johnston; and cherished daughter of the late Marcella and the late Francis Johnston.

Donna enjoyed her work life, she started out as manager of the River Oaks Theater and ended her career by planning conventions for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). Donna loved traveling with her family to Hawaii and Orlando. She was a "rope dropper" while at Disney Parks. She kept her friends and family on a tight schedule for "optimum fun" . Laminated schedules were always on the docket for her traveling companions. Donna was a kind and gentle woman who will be missed by many.

Visitation, Monday, Oct. 24th 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral prayers, Tuesday, Oct. 25th 9:15 a.m. from Nelson Funeral Home 820 W. Talcott Rd. Park Ridge, IL to Immaculate Conception Church for 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
