Delores Ann Martin, born on June 16, 1935 in Chicago, IL; passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Ellen (nee Carlson) Essler; Loving Wife of Thomas L. Martin for 57 years; Wonderful Mom of Valerie (Bruce) Byots, Scott, Tim (Jennifer) and Amy; Extraordinary Grandmother of Jennifer (Patch) Panzella, Melissa (Adam) Klos, Thomas, Mary, Madeline, Brittany, Kelsey, Emily and Hayley; Loving Aunt of Blake. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Delores was a longtime secretary and member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Andersonville. After relocating to the suburbs she became a member of Our Saviourâ??s Lutheran Church and was a member of the altar guild. She was a life long fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears and thoroughly enjoyed tailgating with her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. , Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Our Saviourâ??s Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. 847-255-8700.
