Conrad S. Kristmann (age 90), died peacefully on December 31, 2014 in Naples, Florida. A Park Ridge resident for 62 years, he was married for over 50 years to Dorothy Schmidt Kristmann who died in June 2004. He was the beloved father of Mary and Kurt (Deborah) Kristmann and the devoted grandfather to Christine Yovu, Catherine Kartman, Conrad J. Kristmann and Joanna Kristmann. He was the adoring great-grandfather of Evelyn Yovu. A veteran of World War II and graduate of University of Illinois, a registered architect and member of the American Institute of Architects. An avid golfer and longtime member of Park Ridge Country Club, card player, boatman and sailor, he led his life with humor and enthusiasm and never looked back. Visitation Wednesday, Jan. 7 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott, Park Ridge. Funeral services Thursday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Town of Maine.
