Chester Bruce Belford, 91, passed away on August 6, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy née Hoffmann, his adoring children Mary Elizabeth Belford (Rick Berta), Michael James (Christine), Patricia Grace (James) Ritten, his cherished grandchildren Lauren, Michael and Alison and his dear brother D. Roger. He was a graduate of Kelvyn Park High School, worked as a tool and die maker and served in the Illinois National Guard for 21 years. Later in life he was active in the Park Ridge Senior Center and loved his garden. Visitation to be held 12:30-1:30pm on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd, Park Ridge, IL. Interment to follow at Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge, IL.
