Catherine I. Nazar, 101, a lifelong resident of Chicago, was born in July 1918. She had four siblings: brothers Charles (Adele) and John (Patricia) McParland and sisters Helen (Richard) Schade and Margaret Goveia. She married Elmer Nazar, deceased. Together they raised four children Janice, Robert, Tricia (Steve) and Thomas (Lisa). She was the proud grandmother of Jeffery Foreman, Zachary, Adam, Emma, and Maren Nazar and Mark and Luke Wlodarski.

Matriach of her own immediate family, she was a beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to many.

She felt blessed to have a close knit family that stretched from Chicago to California, Texas, Wisconsin, Oregon and Washington D.C. all who came to her 100 ^th birthday celebration.
