Obituary

Betty Ann Weber, nee Klier, on November 30 just shy of her 86 th birthday on Dec. 26.

Loving wife to H. Kurt Weber (d. 1994)

Mother to Stuart (Sue) Weber and BethAnn (Tom Lynch)

Devoted grandmother to Jessica Susan (Wayne Weinke), Caitlin Elizabeth (Andy Cuthbertson), Andrew Kurt (Helen), Michael Henry (Michelle), Kevin Drake (Mariel) and Anna Katherine.

Middle child born to William and Anna Marie Klier. She is survived by her sister, Helen (Robert) Williams and pre-deceased by her brother William (Rita) Klier.

Beloved caregiver to Jessie, Caity, Andy, Michael, Kevin, Zachary, Nathan and Anna.

Aunt to Judy, Mark, Rick, Leslie, Brian, Chet, Scott, Kathy, Bill, Carol, Terri and Matt.

Cousin, and dear friend to many.

Born at home in Chicago. She was baptized, raised and confirmed at Unity Lutheran Church, Chicago.  She met her husband, Kurt, there and they were married January 1955.

Moving to Park Ridge in 1959, the young family joined St. Luke's Lutheran Church where she served in many capacities including Office Secretary, Sunday School teacher and superintendent, Director for Christian Education, and Treasurer. She also sang in the choir and served on congregation council. Away from St. Luke's she worked for Lutheran Campus Ministry at Northwestern University in Evanston before "retiring" to stay home to care for her mother, mother-in-law and her grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate her life is planned for Dec. 13 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Park Ridge.  A time for visitation with the family will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 4:00 p.m.  Interment at Acacia Cemetery will be private.
