Athanasios 'Tom' Yfantis

Athanasios "Tom" Yfantis, beloved husband to Diane (nee Rempas). Immensely proud father to Steven (Carolyn Robinson), Theo (Megan Kollmeyer) and Zach. Adoring grandfather to Troy and Niko. Loving brother to Gus Yfantis (Olympia Papayannacos). Son to Maria and the late Stavros Yfantis. He was loved by his nieces and nephews; Mario, Gia, George, Elena, Penelope, Olivia, Sofia, Theodore and many more.

Tom touched so many lives through his baseball coaching, his witty sense of humor and endless jokes. He was an incredibly skilled carpenter and loved to fish. Tom's zembekiko was second to none. He was a good friend and parea to many.

Visitation 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday, November 24th, at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Road, Park Ridge. Funeral service 1:00pm Tuesday, November 25th at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Road, Palatine. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Καλο Παράδεισο!
