In Loving Memory of Arcangel D. Matienzo
A Husband, a Papa, a Lolo, and most of all—a comedian.

Arcangel "Angel" D. Matienzo passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2025 surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. As stories, laughter, and memories filled the room, he was gently ushered into rest in the very way he lived: loved and remembered.

Born with a natural knack for making people smile, Angel never failed to light up a room. Whether with a quick joke, a dance move, or a moment of one man karaoke, he brought joy to everyone around him. He was the kind of person who could fix anything—from broken toasters to his grandchildren's bikes—he always had his unique way of doing things.

Angel is survived by his beloved wife, Alita Matienzo, and their daughters: Aileen Matienzo, Anna Liza Matienzo, and Armi Matienzo. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Grey (Chloe) Sherwin, Charlie Sherwin, Titian Sherwin, Nathan Matienzo, Lucian Sherwin, Octavian Matienzo, and Kira Matienzo.

He is now at peace, reunited with his beloved son Andrew, who passed before him, and Andrew's daughter, Amira.

He was someone who added so much warmth and energy to our family. While he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit, laughter, and love will live on in our hearts forever.
