Antoinette ""Babe"" Garland, nee Bumann, age 93; Beloved wife of the late John; dear mother of Anna Marie Ford, Mary (Thomas) Marks, Steven (Nancy) Garland and Denise (Steven) Dimpfl; loving grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 9.
Mrs. Garland was the first secretary for Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church and continue her service to the parish for 37 years. She was a former longtime member of St. Benedict Church in Chicago.
Visitation Wednesday 3 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge
Funeral Thursday 9 a.m. from the funeral home to Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
Memorials to Rainbow Hospice, 1550 Bishop Court, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 preferred.
