On Friday, March 20, 2020, Alice Patricia Laverty, nee Stephens, passed away at the age of 87. She was born on March 8, 1933, and was the loving mother of six children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She died at her home in Park Ridge, IL and was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Phillip, and her son, David.

Alice was the beloved mother of Terri (Jim) Mays, Phil, aka Jack (Floy), Dave, Mike (Heidi), Joan (Tom) Haas, and Patty (Chris) Pausch. She was the loving daughter of Harry and Mary Stephens and dear sister to Mary Jane, Margaret, Frances, Harry, John, Daniel, Anne, and Catherine.

Alice started her work career at Armour and Company, where she met her future husband, Phillip. She also held jobs at Central Food Brokers and Perlman-Rocque before joining the Federal Aviation Administration, where she enjoyed a 17-year career with the Air Security Division before retiring in 2003.

After retirement, Alice served at Mary, Seat of Wisdom as a rectory secretary and dedicated volunteer.  She loved her work with the church and school, making many friends along the way. Memorial service to be held at a later date. Interment private. All Saints Cemetery.
