Al Sampra, passed away September 19, 2026, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 48 years to Monica; cherished father of Sara (Louie) Radic, Alexander (Erica) Sampra and Stephanie Sampra (Luis Canchola); proud grandfather of Anastasia, Marcus, Annabelle, Alexander and Antonio.

Al had an inquisitive mind and a lifelong love of learning. He was fascinated by the sciences, particularly chemistry, astronomy, engineering and technology. He also had a deep passion for history and government and enjoyed learning about the world around him. His curiosity and willingness to understand how things worked were an important part of who he was.

Above all, Al loved his family. He was the person everyone could count on—the one who was always willing to help, lend a hand or simply be there when someone needed him. He was a devoted caretaker and found great meaning in caring for those he loved, especially during times when they needed him most. Al was often the loving and reassuring face at a bedside, offering his presence, comfort and support.

His family will remember him not only for his remarkable curiosity and knowledge, but for his generous heart, his dependability and the love he gave so freely to those around him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
