We are so sorry for your loss, and will miss seeing Dick in the yard, and hearing his stories. He was a great neighbor, loved his town and his country. He always looked forward to talking to the kids at Roosevelt School about his experiences during World War II. My kids still talk about it, and I think his stories gave them a greater understanding of the war.
We are also so sorry we couldn't attend the wake and funeral as we are in Colorado taking Annie to college, but know that he and your family were in our prayers during this difficult time.

To Richard's Family:
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the following Bible verse, John 11: 11 where Jesus said: “... Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.” Please also find comfort in knowing that our Almighty Heavenly Father holds out the hope of the resurrection and the ability to see our loved ones again.
